Custom Cover Components Process Map

  1. Resident’s consultation deposit is given to Carpenter.

  2. Resident enters into contract with Carpenter (if they so choose).

  3. Resident signs contract directly with Carpenter (agreed upon materials, price, timeline, etc.).

  4. Carpenter notifies Kelvin that they are in contract with Resident.

  5. Resident communicates Carpenter’s timeline to Management.

  6. Carpenter builds new cabinetry or retrofits.

  7. Resident’s current cover (if retrofitting current cover, Resident to work with Carpenter on removal).

  8. Management schedules any necessary obstruction/old custom cover removal directly with Resident based off Carpenter’s timeline & minimally 1 week before installation day.

  9. Management notifies Kelvin when obstructions/old custom covers are removed and the location is prepared for installation.

  10. Carpenter notifies Resident when cabinetry is ready.

  11. Resident notifies Management installation can occur.

  12. Management schedules installation with Resident, Carpenter, & Kelvin.

  13. Kelvin installs electronics into cabinetry on installation day and receives sign-off from Resident.
